Reminder to those doing at-home conferences with their learner to please send their Hawk Time educator an email once they have successfully walked through their portfolio with you. We are so proud of the work that they have put in and hope that we can continue to hold the bar high for our learners! Here are the course updates as we continue working through quarter 3: ELA: Students will be working through body paragraphs for argumentative essays. They will practice writing a body paragraph as a class, as well as two body paragraphs supporting the claim of their chosen practice topic. Topics include: Should video games be considered a sport?, Should plastic bottles or straws be banned?, Are zoos helpful or harmful to animals?, or Is binge-watching healthy?
